Here’s a little peek into what a day in our dental home really looks like.

Starting Strong: Our Morning Huddle

Each day begins with our team gathered together for a morning huddle. It’s our moment to connect before the pace of the day picks up. We review the schedule, talk through each patient coming in, and anticipate their unique needs. We might remind each other that one patient prefers music in their headphones, or that another is anxious and could use extra reassurance. It’s not just logistics—it’s a mindset of care and intention.

What We’re Doing When You're Waiting

Sometimes it may feel like you're waiting for us, but we’re always working in the background. We could be entering clinical notes (accurately and thoroughly), reviewing treatment plans, or sterilizing instruments using our CDC-recommended three-step sterilization process. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and safety, so nothing is rushed—each tool is cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized with intention.

Planning Ahead and Adapting Quickly

The day doesn’t start the day of. The day before, we’ve already reviewed your chart and treatment history, so we’re ready to pick up right where we left off. We’re also working hard to “put the puzzle pieces together”—whether that’s coordinating hygiene and treatment appointments or finding space when someone cancels last minute. A cancellation means reworking the entire flow of the day, often in real time. It’s part art, part strategy, and always done with the goal of serving patients as smoothly as possible.

You're on Our Minds Between Visits

Believe it or not, we often find ourselves thinking about our patients between visits. We wonder how your procedure went, if you're feeling better, or how your family is doing. This isn’t just a job—it’s a relationship. Our patients are part of our lives, and it’s not uncommon for one of us to say, “I’ve been thinking about so-and-so, have you heard from them lately?”

Lunch and Life Outside the Office

We genuinely enjoy spending time together—even during our lunch breaks. Most days we eat together, share laughs, and talk about everything from dental tips to dinner recipes. Outside of office hours, we host team events—like potlucks, mini-retreats, or just catching up over coffee. These moments strengthen our bond and make us a better, more cohesive team.

Our Kickoff Planning Meetings

Twice a year, we pause to reflect and grow. Our half-year and yearly kickoff meetings are part planning session, part team retreat. We map out the calendar, schedule charitable contributions, explore new learning opportunities, and take time to reconnect. We’ve done everything from sound baths to personality profiling, all with the goal of better understanding ourselves and each other—so we can serve you better.
